To hold up some of the erosion caused by the enormous amount of water rushing down the mountain after rainfalls, are five earthen dams which have been built on the farm. They provide drinking water for game as well as for the domestic animals on the farm.
Game
Often seen are: Warthog, Kudu, Oryx, Damara Dik-dik, Steenbok, Duiker, Jackal, Suricates, Ostrich, Bat-eared fox, Hares.
On the farm there are also: Leopards, Cheetah, Caracal, Zebra, Springbok, Hartebeest, Porcupine. You will find an abundant bird life in the bush as well as in the garden. Enjoy our varied fauna and flora.
